IUMA, The Internet Underground Music Archive, is the first hi-fi internet
music archive. Operating since November 1993, IUMA currently offers
digitized songs, images, and biographies from 201 bands (mostly unsigned
and independant) and is helping 7 labels with their presence on the Internet
(with more to come).

IUMA can be accessed via the following methods:

    WorldWideWeb:	http://www.iuma.com/IUMA/index.html
    FTP: ftp.iuma.com
    Gopher: gopher.iuma.com

    E-Mail: info@iuma.com
Analog Mail:	903 Pacific Ave, #300
			Santa Cruz, CA 95060 USA

We also have mirror sites on the East Coast (Sunsite at University of
North Carolina) and Europe (Southern Studios in London, England). Links
to these pages are available from the main West Coast HQ link listed above.

In order to play the songs on IUMA, you will need to be able to configure
your computer to play MPEG Layer II sound files. There is information on
how to do this on our site. You can of course send us e-mail if you have
any questions and we will help you out.

Unless specified otherwise, all songs are available in their entirety in
MPEG stereo and mono as well as excerpts in mono MPEG and Sun U-law (.au).
